After you beat the main game on professional difficulty, this weapon is offered for sale by all the merchants you encounter and it cost a mere 0 pesetas. It is a special laser that when fully charged destroys the Plagas parasite in enemies if they have one.

Blacktail, Broken Butterfly, Semi-Auto Rifle, And the shotgun. The blacktail is the best handgun ( in my opinion ), Broken Butterfly is the second best magnum next to handcannon, semi auto rifle is required for a couple of reasons in the game, and the shotgun is a must ( unless you got a striker ).

How hard is re4 professional?

On Pro the difficulty stays locked at maximum all the time regardless of how you play. So for example, on Pro, no matter how much you get hit, enemies will always deal the same amount of damage per blow (which could be as high as ~half a fully upgraded health-bar in later chapters).

If you go for body shots, the Punisher is the better choice. It also helps against ganados with shields. However if you’re going for head- and kneeshots, the Red-9 is better for dealing more damage. Maxed out it has the highest firepower among the handguns.

Seperate ways is a lot shorter and hard in some ways that the normal game. I found that some parts (i played it after my first run of the main game) were really difficult because of too many enemies/strength of enemies were too high and too many lol.

Use pistol or TMP ammo to shoot enemies in the face or bellow the knee to set up melee prompts, then knife them while they’re down. When dealing with 2 or more enemies at once, it’s safer to knock them to the ground with a shotgun shell, then knife them while they’re down.

Is the Punisher worth keeping RE4?

Punisher is currently my fav handgun at least for new games. For a new game I use this so I can save money for upgrading other gun types. If you like pistols for damage, then don’t bother with the Punisher. Get the Red9/Blacktail.
